Abstract
INTRODUCTION: For years, the crypto industry has benefited from the underenforcement of securities and anti-money laundering laws. To get a sense of the premium that it places on favourable legal treatment, consider that crypto sector Super Pacs accounted for nearly half of all corporate spending in the 2024 US elections.
