Abstract
Now that President Trump has rescinded the Obama administration initiative granting a reprieve from removal to undocumented immigrants brought to the United States as children, what happens to them? Most of those affected are culturally if not legally Americans, and their status is no fault of their own. Yet after a six-month grace period, the 800,000 or so young people protected by this program are at risk of being deported at any time. If the Republican Congress fails to enact legislation to save them, do they have any hope?
